Cairo ICT 2010 witnessed the signing of the first MOU between the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and the Ministry of Environment.

It was signed by both H.E Dr.Tarek Kamel, Minister of

Communications & Information Technology and H.E Dr. Maged

George, The Minister of State for Environmental Affairs.

The MOU is on E-waste and the protocol both ministries will

follow to implement all phases of this MOU.

This was followed by a session on E-waste in Egypt with speakers from both the public and private sectors.
