Throughout the years, public and private sector officials and key business figures have used Cairo ICT as their main platform for announcements. Many of such announcements were made public for the first time at Cairo ICT, such as the launch of the Internet, the “PC for every Home” initiative, the inauguration of the first, second and third mobile operators, among many other first time announcements.
